By booking a VIP Website Design Day, you (“Client”) agree to retain Idea Marketing (“Designer”) to provide web design and related services in a focused one-day intensive, and you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

Scope of Work

During your VIP Design Day, Idea Marketing will devote up to 8 hours on assignments determined and prioritized with you in advance.

Every VIP Design Day also includes:

• A prep call (up to 60 minutes) before the VIP Day to confirm priorities and gather assets

• 30 days of post-VIP Day email support for questions or advice related to the work completed during your intensive

Work will be scheduled on a weekday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Pacific Time, unless otherwise agreed.

 

Post-Intensive Support

For 30 days after your VIP Day, you may email us with any questions about the work completed during your intensive, and you will receive a reply via email or brief video tutorial. This support is strictly for advice or troubleshooting related to the work performed during your VIP Day; any new work or out-of-scope requests will require booking additional time.

 

Additional Services & Expenses

Additional design or web services beyond the VIP Day scope can be booked at our current day or half-day rate and will be invoiced separately.

Expenses not included in the standard package (for example, stock images, premium font licenses, third-party app fees) are not included and will be billed separately with your prior approval.

 

Ownership & Usage

Upon receipt of full payment, all creative work produced by Idea Marketing during your VIP Day becomes your property. You are free to use these deliverables as you wish.

 

Use of Testimonials and Promotion

You agree that Idea Marketing may use your written or recorded testimonials, as well as before-and-after screenshots or project images, for promotional purposes on our website, portfolio, or social media, with your business name referenced only with your permission.

 

Payment Terms

To secure your VIP Day, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required at booking. The remaining 50% balance is due three days before your scheduled VIP Day.

Payments are accepted by PayPal, Zelle (U.S. bank transfer), Interac e-Transfer (Canada), or credit card (with a 2.9% processing fee on credit cards).

If the balance is not paid on time, your VIP Day may be rescheduled or canceled. A late fee of 1.5% monthly (or maximum allowed by law) may apply to overdue amounts. Your deposit is valid for 90 days; if the intensive is not scheduled or rescheduled within 90 days, the deposit is forfeited.

 

Rescheduling & Cancellations

You may reschedule your VIP Day one time, with at least 7 days’ written notice. Failure to provide notice or to reschedule within 90 days of your original booking will result in the deposit being forfeited. Rescheduling does not alter payment due dates.

 

Termination

Without Cause: Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice.

For Cause: This Agreement may be terminated by either party for material breach, nonpayment, insolvency, or conduct reasonably deemed harmful or disparaging to the other party.

After Termination:

• If Idea Marketing terminates, a prorated refund may be issued for uncompleted work, based on time expended at $200/hour.

• If the Client terminates, the deposit is non-refundable.

Both parties agree to refrain from public or private disparagement of the other party, including on social media or reviews.

 

Limitation of Services

The VIP Design Day is for focused website and design work as agreed before your booking. Requests outside the agreed scope may be declined or require additional booking.

 

Final Agreement

Idea Marketing may send a separate contract or digital signature request after booking for both parties’ records and clarity.
